We keep talking of Tablets being used for business purposes extensively. So here is one Tablet Pc, specifically designed for the Industrial and business executives and yes, gamers too.

Launched at the Global Gaming Expo, Las Vegas, Nevada last year on October 2, 2012, the TabletKiosk Ultra Mobile Tablet Pc is a rugged 7.1″ sister version of the Sahara Slate range of tablets by TabletKiosk, meant for heavy duty performance in the fieldwork, gaming as well as in offices.

The tablet runs a standard Windows 7 professional OS with WSVGA LED backlit display with 1024 x 600 resolution, which is pretty decent for viewing purposes even in outdoors.

An ATOM N2600 processor with 1 GHz speed and 2 GB RAM ensures a smooth operatiblity along with a sufficient 64 GB internal memory storage.

The tablet does not disappoint on media purposes as well. A 5 Megapixel rear camera and 2 mega pixel front camera along with a video quality of 1080 p is upto the expected standards. Also, the tablet supports 360 degrees video view. Eye catching features for gamers.

But lets get down to the real usage of this tablet. It has 2 batteries, one of which is detachable and can be used in emergencies after the onboard battery expires after 6 hours of usage. Something, which is of great use when working in remote locations with no power sources to charge the tablet up.

Also, the biggest plus point for industrial application is the cost savings which come from the sharing of battery packs, shoulder and carrying straps, chargers, adapters and software modules like Mag Stripe reader and Barcode scanner with other Sahara Slate series Tablet’s. So if your company invests in a proper strategy to utilize the entire range of these industrial tabs, the eo a7400 would be an important addition.

The eo a7400 also, boasts of a TPM v1.2 enhanced encryption support for high confidentiality of classified and important material stored and exchanged on the Tablet. Also, an Ethernet port has been provided on the tablet body to enable LAN connectivity. An elegant feature for gamers.

Add to all this a Wacom stylus pen for easy to point and draw use and you have a complete package here.

The tablet with its durability and great performance has also been marketed as a gaming tab because of the small screen. It is currently unavailable in India, but can be ordered on the TabletKiosk website for $ 1299 (Rs 74,000 approx). Expensive, but certainly value for money.
