With a 1024 x 600 resolution, the HCL ME Y2 Tab provides has a wonderful display powered by a 1 GHz processor. Running Android 4.0.3(Ice Cream sandwich), its 7 inch display coupled with an IPS LCD capacitive multi-touchscreen with 3G capability and support for SIM card makes it an enviable device at Rs 14999.
However, the downside is HCL Y2 does not support Google Play. This and its poor speaker quality give its competitors a slight advantage over this phone.
A 2.0 Megapixel(1600 x 1200)rear camera paired with a VGA 0.3 Megapixel (640 x 480) front camera provides a mediocre snapshot experience.
