The Indian manufacturer Lava has launched Tablet named Lava Xtron for just Rs. 4,999. With the launch of it, one more tablet is added to Xtron series. This tablet has been especially designed for college students and young professional.
It runs on Android Kitkat v4.4 with 7-inch Touchscreen with a screen resolution of 1024 * 600 pixels and is powered with 1.3 GHz Quad core Media-Tek MT8127 processor.
The primary camera is of 2 MP with no flash and secondary camera of 0.3 MP . It has been coupled with 1 GB of RAM for faster computing and smoother running. It has inbuilt memory of 16 GB which can be expanded through microSD card upto 32 GB.
While conforming connectivity it includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth to transfer files, Micro-USB, GPS, HDMI and GPRS. The battery is of 4000 mAh which provide average talk time of 10 hours with standby time of 300 hours. Though, no sim slot is provided for voice calling.
Last month Lava has introduced a tablet named Ivory E, which was priced Rs. 6,099.
Though, this tablet can be purchased by those users who are engaged on internet most of the time and price charged against it is favorable. Only, one feature was to be included i.e. Sim calling. As, most of the users does not like to purchase phone along with it for calling.
