Huawei Tablet Pad 7 lite

Huawei has announced two new tablets for the Indian market. The tablets are added t the MediaPad family of Huawei.

The two tablets are 7-inch MediaPad7 Lite and 10-inch MediaPad, 10 FHD (we are guessing FHD stand for Full High Definition or Fats High Definition). The stellar features of the devices are that they both runs on Android IceCream Sandwich 4.0.4, have aluminium uni-body design and have a SIM card slot for data usage and voice calling.

The 7-inch MediaPad 7 lite has a Cortex A8 1.2 GHz solo processor, an IPS screen resolution of staggering 1024×600 (almost the same as iPad Mini, 1024×768) and two cameras of 3.2 MP back and 0.3 MP front camera for video calling). The MediaPad 7 Lite is available at all leading electronic stores and online stores also. The device is priced at 13,700. We think that this is the great value for your money, but do wait for some while as the prices are expected to go down.

But the light is taken away by MediaPad 10 FHD. This device runs on Huawei custom made chip consisting of a screaming, wait for it, 1.4 GHz QUAD-CORE processor and a blistering 16 core GPU! Whoa, that hardware really burns! The screen is even more of a show stealer. The 10.1-inch 16:10 wide IPS screen measures at 1920×1200 pixels (220 ppi), well below the new iPad but still enough for you to not be able to make out the individual pixels on the screen. The tablet gets a Dolby 5.1 certification, which means, if you hook it up to your HDTV, you’ll get all the 5 channel audio flowing through your home theatre system (if you have one) and that too with Dolby technology. Better still, you can immerse in the experience with your earphones on for pure audio bliss.

The tablet also features an 8 MP rear camera capable of shooting full HD (1080p) videos with dual LED flash (which very frankly, isn’t still enough for photos at night but at least it aids a little) and a 1.3 MP front camera. The tablet also houses an LTE radio (for those who don’t know, this is also better known as 4G or 4th Generation telecom standard) along the usual Wi-Fi.
