Lenovo Miix 3 convertible — Lenovo Miix 3: Hybrid (Tablet-cum-Laptop)

Lenovo has launched its Windows tablet-cum-laptop in India dubbed Miix 3. It can be purchased from company official store. It has been priced Rs. 21,999 with free shipping.

Specification:-
Specification features 10.1-inch IPS touch screen with pixel resolution of 1920 * 1200. It has been powered by Intel Atom Z3735F processor clocked at 1.33 GHz coupled with 2 GB of RAM. It packs 32 GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded upto 64 GB via. microSD card. Detachable keyboard has been bundled along with it and One year free subscription to Office365.

Connectivity:-
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mini HDMI and micro USB. Battery capacity has not been enlisted but will provide 8 hours of support. Camera is of 2 MP at front.

Last month, Chinese giant has launched Tab 2 A7-10 tablet in India with price tag of Rs. 4,999. It features 7-inch display with pixel resolution of 1024 * 600. Android Kitkat was the OS platform and was powered by 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT8127 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM.

Microsoft Windows 10 Tablets — Microsoft Upcoming 10-inch Tablets featuring 10.1-inch Display

Microsoft is working on its first 10.1-inch tablets which will run on latest Operating System i.e. Windows 10. It has been revealed at GFXBench.

Specifications:-
Windows 10 will be running OS platform with 10.1-inch display with a pixel resolution of 2560 * 1440. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Arm Cortex v7 Quad Core processor with Adreno 420 with 55 GB of ROM, translating to configuration of 64 GB inbuilt storage.

Last Windows RT Tablet: Nokia 2520
Windows RT was not quite successful due to failure in providing access to users to 32-bit and 64-bit applications.

Due to its Usability hindrance, Microsoft has stopped the production of Surface 2 tablet which was the only tablet coming under its production house and was still in production. Lumia 2520 was also killed for the same reasons.

Asus Transformer Book Chi : Hybrid Tablets

Asus has expanded its Transformer Book Chi series with three new Hybrid Windows tablets, revealed at CES 2015 event in Las Vegas. All three tablets Transformer Book T90, Transformer Book T100 and Transformer Book T300 runs on Windows platform. All the three tablets are bundled with Keyboard docks.

Asus Transformer T300 Chi:-
All of the three Hybrid tablets comes with aluminum body with laser-cut chambered edges.
Transformer T300 Chi features 12.5-inch IPS WQHD or Full HD display and has been substitute for Surface Pro. It comes in two variants when compared to pixel resolution i.e. 2560 * 1440 (WQHD) cost $ 799 and 1920 * 1080 (Full HD) cost $ 699. It will be powered by Intel Core M processor which is designed for fan-less technology.
It comes with 4 GB or 8 GB RAM and Solid State Drive of 128 GB. Tablet along with dock keyboard measures 1.65-inches, which is thinner in comparison to Macbook Air.

Specification of T300 Chi:-

Asus Transformer T100 Chi:-
Transformer T100 Chi features 10.1-inch Full HD IPS display with a pixel resolution of 1920 * 1200. It has been powered by Intel Atom Z3775 Bay Trail quad-core processor clocked at 1.46-GHz coupled with 1 GB or 2 GB RAM. It measures 7.2 mm in thickness, described as slim as wafer. It had price tag of $ 400.

Asus Transformer T90 Chi:-
It features 8.9-inch WXGA IPS display with a pixel resolution of 1280 * 800. It is the slimmest tablet in its category measures 0.3 inches.
The asking price for T90 Chi is $ 300.

It bears same specification when compared to its predecessor, which has been launched in November last year. The additional functionality which will be available with Swipe Ultimate Tab is 3G support via Sim slot and direct USB port v3.0. While, Swipe Ultimate connect 3G via USB dongle.

Ultimate Tab 3G comes with preloaded Windows 8.1 as OS, 10.1-inch WXVGA multi-touch IPS display with zero air gap technology and pixel resolution of 1280 * 800. Dell EveryPad Pro Tablet hit the shelves in Japan. It will run on Windows v8.1 out-of-box. The Display will be of 8-inches. It has got similar look to Dell Venue 8 Pro. It will cost nearly Rs. 30,000.

Just like name, it has also got processor slightly faster than the version available in US.

It will run on Windows OS 8.1 with Bing 32-bit and will be powered by 1.49 GHz Intel Atom Z3775D quad-core Bay Trail processor. It had been provided screen of 8-inches HD IPS display with resolution of 1280 * 800. The Ram is of 2GB with 64 GB of Hard-drive storage.. The primary camera is of 5 MP and secondary camera is 1.2 MP with HD for voice-calling. Single Sim slot has been provided with 4G LTE support along with Tablet. Intel R HD graphics card has been embedded for good picture & gaming experience. Battery is of 4830 mAh with support of 18 Watt hour.

Connectivity:-
On the connectivity corner, it has Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth V4.0, Card reader (microSd), Trusted platform module security. Microsoft office home and Business 2013 is provide with Japanese version.

HP Stream 7 & 8. Low Budget Windows 8 Tab

Hang on to Bang-Bang the Indian market, HP is going to launch two low-cost Windows 8.1 Tablets in the month of November. The two new HP Windows tablet, the HP Stream 7 and HP Stream starts for just Rs 6,100 and Rs. 9,200 respectively. Both of the devices will be available in the month of November this year.

This family of Stream Tablets is meant to offer low cost Windows based tablets and are a part of Microsoft.

Both of the HP Stream tablets – HP Stream 7 and HP Stream 8- are running on Intel quad-core processors and Operating system of Windows 8.1. They also include one year free subscription of Microsoft Office 365 along with storage of 1 Terabyte and 1 hrs of Skype each month. The precious of the two HP Stream 8 tablet also include free 200 MB data with 4G technology for each month with no annual contract of the device life.

HP has not revealed the full specification for both the Stream tablets, but has short out the few specification at the event organized by HP in New York which include Display of 7 & 8 inch with Proximity sensor which provide features like Face detection, Specific absorption rate regulation, Wake on approach with lower power consumption, Higher reliability, better industrial design, Lowest cost and better performance and Intel atom quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM , to provide storage 32 GB of inbuilt memory which can be expanded using micro SD card and connectivity features with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi , USB and Sim slot.

With the introduction of new Window based tablets there is going to be tough competition but the consumer will get better option to choose from wide variety of ranges of tablet.
