Cheapest Best Windows tablet PCt — Microsoft Surface 3:- Cheapest Tablet by Redmond Giant

With the Success of Microsoft Surface Pro 3, Microsoft has started to roll out its low cost version of its Surface tablet computer. It has been named Microsoft Surface 3 and will start from $499.

Redmond Giant has launched Surface Pro 3 last year which starts from $799. Surface 3 will cost less than initial price of Surface Pro 3 which will bought less powerful processor. Out of Surface series, Surface 3 is been the thinnest and lightest weighting just 622 grams and measure 8.7 mm in thickness.

Specification:-
Specification features, 10.8-inch full HD display resembling pixel resolution of 1920 * 1080 making it competitive with Apple iPad air. It will be available in two variants basic and LTE models. It has been powered by Intel Atom x7 Z8700 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz and coupled with 2GB/4GB RAM. It pack 64GB/128GB inbuilt storage. Both the variant will be running on Windows 8.1 out-of-the-box and can be upgraded to Windows 10.

Connectivity:-
Connectivity includes, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB. Both the tablets feature 3.5 MP front camera while the LTE model has been equipped with 8 MP rear camera. Optional dock with Ethernet jack, USB port and mini display port comes with tablet.

Microsoft Windows 10 Tablets — Microsoft Upcoming 10-inch Tablets featuring 10.1-inch Display

Microsoft is working on its first 10.1-inch tablets which will run on latest Operating System i.e. Windows 10. It has been revealed at GFXBench.

Specifications:-
Windows 10 will be running OS platform with 10.1-inch display with a pixel resolution of 2560 * 1440. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Arm Cortex v7 Quad Core processor with Adreno 420 with 55 GB of ROM, translating to configuration of 64 GB inbuilt storage.

Last Windows RT Tablet: Nokia 2520
Windows RT was not quite successful due to failure in providing access to users to 32-bit and 64-bit applications.

Due to its Usability hindrance, Microsoft has stopped the production of Surface 2 tablet which was the only tablet coming under its production house and was still in production. Lumia 2520 was also killed for the same reasons.

Windows RT to discontinue:-
But at last, Microsoft has sell tons of tablets running Windows RT OS platform designed for tablets. As a result of it, Microsoft has to continue its life support.

Some features of Windows 10 can be added to Windows RT platform, but many of the features will not be added.

Samsung, Microsoft & Sony: Rumor of 13-inch Tablet at Year End

Samsung, Microsoft & Sony have been rumor to be engaged in manufacturing of 13-inch Tablet which is to be released by year end. The tablet market soon can go through several changes, due to success and adoption of large screen tablets worldwide.

Increased adoption rate of Tablet can force Smartphone manufacturer to give up their Smartphone slate in favor of Large screen Tablets. It has been rumored that Apple will discontinue iPad Mini series in order to use its effort in 12-inch iPad Pro, and according to the source, it has been revealed that Samsung and Microsoft are working on the manufacturing of large screen tablets which is to be released till the end of this year.

According to the reports from South Korea, it has been rumored that Samsung is engaged in manufacturing of 13-inch tablet and will hit the shelves at the end of this year. Despite of Super AmoLED, it would be using LCD display for its 13-inch slate.

It has been added, Microsoft is also been engaged in manufacturing of Surface Pro 4 with 13 or 14-inch slate which will be launched at the end of this year. It had been stepped with the success of its 12-inch Surface pro 3. The company has reported 127 percent of increased revenue from its Surface Pro 3 business as compared to last year.

It has been rumored that, Sony is also working on the manufacturing of 12-inch Tablet which will be launched at the end of this year.

With the Christmas coming in next month, All tablet manufacturing firms are coming with an option for the users to switch to their Tablets.

Windows 8 RT vs Windows 8

Microsoft has always been the one with one product getting launched with several names, which creates confusion even in the geeks, per se, and this time has been no different. Windows 8 has been launched now a week ago and there are again several versions of it in the market. We are going to bust the different edition of Windows 8 launched this year.

Windows 8 RT

First up, is the Windows 8 RT (or Windows RT). It is a direct competition to Apple’s iPad and other well selling tablets. The screen is greeted with live tiles, which is refreshing way to interact with your devices. Here are the few interesting things about Windows RT:

Just like iOS, the RT comes pre-installed with tablets, you cannot install it by yourself or move to another device.
RT can only be run on ARM based processors and not the ones from Intel and AMD. This means that just like iPads and Android tablets, it is only for light usage and basic tasks. But with Windows RT you can do more than iPad, if you know your way around.
The biggest difference between RT and other versions of Windows 8 is that although RT does have a regular desktop we are all familiar with, it cannot install the regular executable (.exe) files and neither run them. It just runs apps, like iOS and Android. But this is not a downside! Read to know.
What it makes away with desktop, Microsoft has added their killer app of many years to the RT, the Office suite. You have Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote, all at the price of FREE! This was done to make the RT more attractive, functional and a better option than most of the tablets. So now you can straight away start using your tablet without worrying to buy or install apps to actually use your tablet.
Since it is an ARM based platform, it has got more battery life than other laptops which will run Windows 8.
As mentioned above, RT is directed in the same area of usage as the other tablets are being used, with more and better usability.
The desktop interface here does give you and edge over other tablets. You can tweak the finer settings, access USB drives, attach and use printers, scanners, camera and all other USB devices, just like you did on your Windows PC. A tablet with these many functions, cool, isn’t it? This is the first of it’s kind device which provides you with PC-like productivity.
