The latest tablet launched by LG and it comes 15 November 2019. The tablet is LG G Pad 5, 10.1″ FHD. It provides full entertaining, shopping facilities and engaging with families.

It provides an expensive display that has an edge to edge view and it is 10.1″(256.54 mm) WUXGA. It is an Android 9.0 OS.

The LG G Pad 5 has a long-lasting battery that has an 8200 mAh Li-Polymer powerful battery; it is the faster-charging battery.

The LG G Pad 5 (10.1″ FHD) comes with MediaTek 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Processor. LG G Pad 5 memory has 2 GB RAM and 32GB ROM and it has expandable up to 512 GB.

Samsung has launched another tablet in its Galaxy series which is a hybrid Tablet-cum- Smartphones. The new model of Samsung is Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 LTE has a 10.50” touchscreen display.

It has been powered by the Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.8GHz. The tablet runs on android OS.

The size of the main display is 10.5” (266.7mm), and its resolution is 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA) with super AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode). It supports S Pen.

The rear camera of Samsung Galaxy tab S6 is 13 Megapixel + 5 Megapixel and the Front camera is 8 Megapixel. The Video recording resolution is UHD (Ultra High Definition) 4K (3840 x 2160).

It has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM which can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD.

Pros: 

  • Excellent AMOLED screen
  • Upgradable to Android 9.0
  • Solid and very pretty design
  • Calling tablet hence all mobile app (Whatsapp, mobile banking, shopping etc.) are installable. No discrimination by APPS
  • Controlled heating but that controls performance as well.

Cons: 

  • Insufficient RAM or poor RAM management, out of 2.7 GB (real RAM) only 1.6 GB is available on first boot.
  • Average or below average battery backup. 5970 MAH battery for 9.7-inch screen is not enough.
  • Charging from 0 to 100% is a nightmare (anything between 3.5 to 4.5 hours). No Fast Charging.
  • Average gaming performance. A little bit of lag while playing high-end games like PUBG, NEED FOR SPEED etc.
  • Average camera performance. The front camera is useless if you are looking for a high definition SKYPE or VIDEO C Rear camera is good for daylighting.
