Acer has launched it’s new 7″ tablet – Iconia A110, a succeeder to Iconia A100. The newly launched tablet is going to give tough competition to both Nexus 7 and Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet. Iconia A110 is only the second tablet which will be operating on Android’s latest version, Jelly Bean.

Though the resolution of the tablet is less as compared to Nexus 7 (1280×800), Iconia A110 comes with an additional MicroSD slot and also an HDMI slot which add to it’s functionality. The display consumes less power and you can get a video playback of around 7.5 hours! The front camera supports face recognition and hence, you get an extra security tool. You can enjoy gaming, HD videos – thanks to the fast processor. The tablet also comes with inbuilt features like Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Play Store, Messenger and many more.
All in all, low price and good specifications give Iconia A110 an edge over its competitors – Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire. Other competitors in the business are Asus Transformer Prime and HTC One X.
