A new upgraded version of the Nexus 7 tablet has been released by Google this July, 2013 with better screen and upgraded OS v4.3, yet these are some of the outstanding features of the previous Nexus 7 tab :

Jelly Bean Update

Taking Android 4.0 IceCream Sandwich to next level, Google the best search engine, introduces its next OS Android 4.1 code named Jelly Bean for its very own Google Nexus 7 tablet. This 4.1 update to Android and use of quad core processor makes the device run smoother and faster eliminating any kind of lag, so that Nexus experiences the best contents available for Androids in Google Play. 3rd Party Apps

In addition to Google Books and Google Play Apps, Google would be smart enough to use 3rd party software’s to live up to customer’s demands. It might utilize Amazon and Netflix as the providers of books, movies, and music. This integration might get user attention and make the device more appealing. This move might also steal some ‘About to be Kindle Fire owners’.

Voice s/w Integration

Google is expected to launch a Siri-like application that uses a natural language user interface to answer questions, make recommendations, and perform actions by delegating requests to a set of web services.

Google’s Project Glass

Nexus 7 tabs are expected to offer some interesting functionality by integrating company’s Project Glass. Glass is a device that helps us to interact with the world without disconnecting from it. The Glass is designed in such a way that it doesn’t interfere with our activity. ‘Its weight is less than most sunglasses’. It has a touch pad for control, a button for shooting photos and videos with the built-in camera, and a small information display that doesn’t come in our line of sight.

Other Features

With access to Google Play, users will have access to more than 600,000 games, songs, music and TV show videos and the largest collection of e-books on the net.

A stand-by battery life of 300 hours and 9-10 hours during use, Nexus 7 surely packs a powerful punch.

Okkk. first and foremost the logic cheaper his better is proved with this tab..

      I have and I use ..

      Pros:-
Amazing touch, and response can handle a butt load of apps at the same time.

      scratch less back

good free apps that actually work with a tab which is almost 16 thousand
cheaper then then any apple pad including the mini

The live wallpaper and the dynamic background – u guessed not in apple or any lava or so tabs.

face recognition works like a charm

and yes the micro usb – Why a pro??

If you use a charger like a portable nokia dc-16 all products get charged without a power point. trust me most essential when no time to charge anything.

the cons are fair and just

      no SD card slot

      no rear camera

      no calling

(am not going for the sim one as the higher variant has a sim for net usage)

although a phone with wifi spot works like a breeze when required.

all in all an excellent product for cheap usage and a viable option for the non apple purchasers.
